Friday Night Fights: "No Mas!" Prize Fight - Paste Pot Pete Prevents A Pasting!
Welcome to tonight's special Friday Night Fights Prize Fight, entitled "No Mas!". Our humble host Spacebooger has given us one additional rule this time around: It must be a fight scene where the loser gives up before being beaten too badly.
Tonight's surrender-laden slugfest comes to us courtesy of Fantastic Four#218, written by Bill Mantlo and illustrated by John Byrne and Joe Sinnott. Synopsis: The Frightful Four have captured Spider-Man, invaded the Baxter Building, and taken down the Human Torch, the Thing, and the Invisible Girl ("Woman" would come later). They are in the midst of doing the same to Mr. Fantastic when a certain newly-escaped Wall-Crawler comes to the rescue...
And here is where it all starts going south for Bentley Wittman and his crew.
It gets worse when Reed joins in.
"Sucks" to be you, Sandman!
Ok, so that's two of the Frightful Four down, but...no one has actually given up yet. Both Sandy and the
Could it be....Electro?
It's actually not Electro. To be fair, he did beg Spidey to stop spinning him, but....
....he didn't exactly get spared a beatdown.
That leaves the Trapster, who sees the writing on the wall and tries to get the heck out of Dodge, or at least the Baxter Building. But, well, guess who's gone and recovered? Oh, and did I mention that ol' Traps once went by another name?
According to tonight's rules the loser gives up to avoid being beaten too badly. Our ever-loving blue-eyed Mr. Grimm is even kind enough to explain what the former Paste Pot has in store for him if he attempts to resist.
So, what's it gonna be, Traps?
I've consulted with our host himself and he says.....fainting counts! Ladies and gentlemen, we have our "No Mas"!
Tonight's fight music is......well, were you honestly expecting anything else?
