Friday Night Fights: Double M - Round 9: Cracking (Red) Skulls!

In honor of today being the 71st anniversary of the Pearl Harbor bombing, tonight's round of Friday Night Fights: Double M will focus on another World War II era bomb-dropping attempt, courtesy of Batman/Captain America#1 by John Byrne.

Synopsis: Batman & Captain America are teaming up during World War II to stop the Red Skull from bombing the Capitol.

The Skull flees into the bomb bay and immediately shuts the door behind him, cutting off Batman's pursuit. The Skull then proceeds to taunt the Caped Crusader through the bomb bay door's porthole window, which is highly unfortunate.....

..... for the porthole window. And for Red Skull's FACE!

Tonight's fight music is by, appropriately enough, Band Of Skulls.

One can't help but think that if the DC Heroes were to come to the Marvel Universe more often, they'd clean the whole place up.

Except that the common populace is so unpleasant, that they would decide to go back home where they are appreciated.

But yes, that is completely awesome.

Agreed. Plus it's always fun to see Batman being completely bad-ass, no matter what era or villain. That's why he's my fav:)

The Skull was all like "Ach die lieber! Mine face, mine face!"

See, didn't know Batman was a dentist/and or plastic surgeon did you guys;)?
