Friday Night Fights: Snow White Fight - Hybrid Moment!

Tonight Spacebooger is emceeing a special Friday Night Fights mini-round entitled FNF Special: Snow White Fight. Our humble host has given us one special rule for this round: Each entry must include a fight scene that takes place in the snow or any other white background. Since I've already posted John Byrne's classic Alpha Flight Snowbird fight, tonight I'm going with another classic Marvel snow fight from the same era. Tonight's snow-white scuffle comes from ROM Spaceknight #18 by Bill Mantlo, Sal Buscema, and Frank Giacoia.

Synopsis: The X-Men are defending 15-year-old Jimmy Marks from what appears to be a killer robot that killed Jimmy's parents. However, appearances are deceiving in this case: The "killer robot" is none other than ROM, Spaceknight, and the X-Men have mistaken him for a murderer, something that happened quite often to ROM in his early encounters with the heroes of the Marvel universe. The parents' killer was actually Jimmy himself, who is secretly a human/Dire Wraith hybrid who cleverly calls himself Hybrid.

Here Jimmy has finally revealed his true monstrous self to our merry mutants and is facing off against them and ROM.

But what about the engine block?

And how does this work out for Logan?

NOT VERY WELL.

But....

And Hybrid is BANISHED TO LIMBO! (Unfortunately, so is ROM.)

Tonight's fight music is by the Misfits.
